BPSC Non-Cadre Circular 2026: 147 Posts, Apply from 1 November
Applications have not opened yet. As checked on 24 October 2026, BPSC's 19 October notices cover serials 78–82 and 83–96. Online applications are due to open on 1 November 2026 at noon and close on 30 November at 6 pm, Bangladesh time. Read the exact post's conditions before applying.

Two notices appear on BPSC's current non-cadre recruitment page. They cover different grades and qualifications, so a single headline does not tell you whether you can apply. This page separates the post lists and gives you a practical way to check the original documents.
Download the three original documents first
- Serials 78–82: higher pay-scale notice, 19 October 2026 — 8 pages.
- Serials 83–96: combined notice, 19 October 2026 — 10 pages.
- Online application and payment instructions, signed 19 October 2026 — 11 pages.
All three links come from the official BPSC current non-cadre notices page. The instruction file retains an “August, 2025” template header, but its dated memo and signature refer to 19 October 2026 and the listed advertisement groups. Use the complete signed document linked by BPSC, and recheck that page for corrections before submitting.
What is in each notice?
The post counts below add up to 12 + 135 = 147. This is a calculation from the two notices' rows, not the number of different job titles. Some rows say the number may change. English post names below help you find the row; the original notice's wording controls eligibility.
Higher pay-scale group: serials 78–82
| Serial | Post | Grade | Posts |
|---|---|---|---|
| 78 | System Analyst | 5 | 3 |
| 79 | Maintenance Engineer | 6 | 1 |
| 80 | Assistant Chief Architect | 6 | 2 |
| 81 | Programmer | 6 | 1 |
| 82 | Junior Consultant (Medicine) | 6 | 5 |
This group includes experience-based posts. The age limits differ by row; age is assessed on 1 October 2026. Read the qualification and experience columns together. A relevant degree by itself does not establish that you meet an experience requirement.
Combined group: serials 83–96
| Serial | Post | Grade | Posts |
|---|---|---|---|
| 83 | Law Officer | 9 | 1 |
| 84 | Boiler Inspector | 9 | 2 |
| 85 | Assistant Air-conditioning Maintenance Engineer | 9 | 1 |
| 86 | Research Officer | 9 | 1 |
| 87 | Sub-Registrar | 9 | 84 |
| 88 | Protocol Officer | 10 | 1 |
| 89 | Sub-Assistant Maintenance Engineer | 10 | 7 |
| 90 | Assistant Protocol Officer | 10 | 1 |
| 91 | Photo Technician | 10 | 3 |
| 92 | Assistant Trainer | 11 | 9 |
| 93 | Senior Instructor: vocational, commercial, industrial and design trade | 11 | 2 |
| 94 | Senior Instructor: handicrafts and related training | 11 | 2 |
| 95 | Senior Instructor: home science | 11 | 2 |
| 96 | Nurse Midwife | 12 | 19 |
These rows have different degree, diploma, registration and experience conditions. Serials 93–95 are restricted to women. Do not treat a broad phrase such as “graduate eligible” as a substitute for the actual row.
Dates and fees to put in your checklist
| Item | What the notices specify |
|---|---|
| Online opening | 1 November 2026, 12 noon |
| Online closing | 30 November 2026, 6 pm |
| Fee window after closing | Only applicants who obtained a User ID by closing: until 3 December 2026, 6 pm |
| Age assessment date | 1 October 2026; use the age limit in your post's row |
| Exam fee: grades 5, 6, 9 and 10 | Tk 200 |
| Exam fee: grades 11 and 12 | Tk 150 |
| Disadvantaged-citizen category stated in the instructions | Tk 50; check whether your category qualifies |
The listed amounts are exam fees. Check the official payment reply for the payable amount and any applicable charge. The later fee window does not let a new applicant start a form after the online deadline.
BPSC non-cadre salary scales and age limits in these notices
The original notices list the following pay scales under National Pay Scale 2026. These are basic-pay scales, not a promise of starting take-home salary or allowances.
| Grade | Advertisement serials | Listed basic-pay scale, Tk |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 78 | 86,000–139,700 |
| 6 | 79–82 | 71,000–134,000 |
| 9 | 83–87 | 44,000–105,900 |
| 10 | 88–91 | 32,000–77,300 |
| 11 | 92–95 | 25,000–60,500 |
| 12 | 96 | 24,300–58,700 |
For age on 1 October 2026, serials 78 and 82 list a maximum of 40 years; serials 79–81 list 35. The combined notice lists 32, with a stated relaxation to 35 for government employees applying for Research Officer, serial 86. Read the relevant row and conditions rather than applying one age limit to all 147 vacancies. These figures and conditions come from pages 1–4 of the linked notices.
Check eligibility before choosing a post
Make one checklist for each serial you are considering. Write the PDF page number next to every requirement. Mark each item met, not met or needs clarification.
- Identity of the vacancy: match the serial, unit, employer and exact post title. Similar titles in different notices can have different rules.
- Education: compare your certificate's degree title, subject, duration and result with the row. Read alternatives joined by “or” carefully.
- Experience or professional registration: identify what work counts, the required period and the evidence needed. Do not count a course as employment experience.
- Age and category: calculate age on the specified date, then check that row and any applicable exception in the notice.
- Proof: list the certificate, registration or employer document that supports each claim. If a condition is unclear, ask BPSC through its official contact route before paying.
Example of a safer decision: a candidate sees a technical job title that resembles their degree. Instead of choosing it immediately, they check the permitted subjects, course duration and experience column. If one required condition is not met, a similar degree title does not resolve that gap. This is a checking method, not a decision on any reader's personal eligibility.
Application steps and the checks that matter
- Start from BPSC's official page and follow its Teletalk application route when applications open. Select Non-Cadre and the correct advertised post.
- Read the advertisement and instructions before completing Form 5A. Match names and dates to your certificates and select the subject code allowed for that post.
- For these instructions, prepare a recent colour photo of 300 × 300 pixels, no more than 100 KB, and a signature of 300 × 80 pixels, no more than 60 KB. Follow the file-format instructions in the official document.
- Check the preview before submission. Save the Applicant's Copy and keep the User ID privately.
- Follow the official SMS payment steps. Save the successful confirmation and check payment status; submitting a form alone does not complete payment.
Before payment, review the name, date of birth, post, subject code, qualifications and images together. The notices limit correction after payment. Do not share a password, OTP or application credentials in a public comment or with an unofficial agent.
The higher pay-scale group has an extra document step
For serials 78–82, the notice specifies delivery of the Applicant's Copy and required supporting papers to the relevant BPSC unit during 20–28 December 2026, 10 am–3 pm. The unit table and document list are in that notice. Plan this separately from the online and fee deadlines. Do not apply the same delivery rule to every combined-group post.
Page 4 routes serials 78–79 to Unit 04, serial 80 to Unit 07, serial 81 to Unit 17 and serial 82 to Unit 06 at the BPSC Secretariat, Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207. Match the unit to your serial before sending the required papers.
Will every post use the same recruitment test?
No. For serials 78–82, section 1.6 states a 100-mark oral test and allows screening or a written test if BPSC decides it is needed because of applicant numbers. Do not transfer that rule to serials 83–96. Follow the applicable policy, your post's notice and later official exam instructions.
Correction, 24 October 2026: the hard-copy submission period for serials 78–82 starts on 20 December, not 21 December. The date above has been corrected against section 1.7 on page 4 of the original notice.
What to do next
Before opening day, choose a suitable serial, finish your requirement checklist and prepare the supporting records. On application day, reopen the official page to check for a correction or replacement notice. If your interest is the exam stage, use our BPSC non-cadre syllabus guide as a study route, then follow the exact post's notice for its actual test requirements.
Status checked: 24 October 2026. This is an independent guide to the two October notices, not an official BPSC announcement or an application service. No application was submitted or payment made while preparing it. Future amendments, the original Bangla notices and BPSC's instructions take precedence over this summary.
