Verified upcoming Bangladesh job exam schedule

The schedule below was active when this page was reviewed. It comes from the Bangladesh Public Service Commission notice for the second phase of the 50th BCS 2025 Viva Voce. The PDF assigns candidates to particular dates by registration number, so a date is applicable only when the candidate appears in the relevant list.

How to verify your exact job exam date

  1. Open the recruiting authority's official website. Use its Notice, Career, Recruitment or Exam section instead of relying on a screenshot.
  2. Match the recruitment identity. Confirm the organization, post, circular number or job ID and whether the notice is for MCQ, written, practical or viva.
  3. Read the attached notice PDF. The page title may not contain the reporting time, centre, roll range, documents or prohibited items.
  4. Find your roll or registration number. One PDF can divide candidates across several dates, sessions and venues.
  5. Compare it with the admit card. Recheck the official notice board for a correction, postponement or revised seat plan before travelling.

Job exam marks distribution: fixed rules and post-specific patterns

There is no single marks distribution for every Bangladesh job exam. BCS has a published examination structure, while bank, BPSC non-cadre, primary, NTRCA, ministry, directorate and autonomous-body recruitment may use different stages, subject weights, pass standards and negative-marking rules. For those exams, the active circular and later exam notice control the pattern.

What candidates can confirm and what must be checked again
Exam familyConfirmed structureCheck in the active notice
BCS200-mark preliminary MCQ, 900-mark written examination and 200-mark Viva VoceBCS number, stage, syllabus, schedule, seat plan and candidate instructions
BPSC non-cadreNo single pattern applies to every postMCQ, written, practical or viva stages; marks, pass rules and job-related subjects
Bank recruitmentThe recruiting bank or Bankers' Selection Committee specifies the pattern for the relevant job IDJob ID, exam stage, duration, negative marking, calculator rule and admit-card instructions
Primary, NTRCA and departmental jobsThe current circular, recruitment rules and later exam notice determine the formatBatch, phase, district or level, subject weights, duration and revised notices

Previous questions are practice evidence

An older question paper can reveal common subjects and difficulty, but it cannot prove that the next examination will use the same marks, duration or negative-marking rule.

The circular and exam notice have different roles

The circular may explain the selection method. A later notice normally confirms the actual date, time, centre, seat plan and candidate instructions.

For the official BCS subject breakdown, see the BCS Preliminary Syllabus and Marks Distribution and BCS Written Syllabus and Marks Distribution.

Official sources for exam dates, admit cards and seat plans

Use the authority responsible for the recruitment. A general job portal may alert you to a notice, but the responsible authority's notice and admit card should be used for the final decision.

Some official portals may temporarily block automated access or experience downtime. That does not make an unofficial copy authoritative; revisit the official portal or use the contact details shown in the recruitment notice.

Job exam admit card and exam-day checklist

  • Download the admit card from the official recruitment portal and print it clearly.
  • Confirm your photo, roll number, post or job ID, date, reporting time, session and centre.
  • Read every page of the notice for identity documents, photographs, certificates or other required papers.
  • Check the rules for calculators, watches, mobile phones, bags and electronic devices.
  • Plan the route in advance and arrive before the reporting time stated in the notice.
  • Check the official notice board again on the evening before the exam and before leaving home.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I find all upcoming government job exam dates?

There is no complete official calendar for every authority. Check BPSC, the recruiting organization's website, Bangladesh Bank e-Recruitment or the relevant Teletalk portal. Match the organization, post or job ID and examination stage before using a notice.

Is a Facebook post or SMS enough to confirm an exam date?

No. It can alert you, but the date should be confirmed from the authority's official website, attached notice PDF or admit card. Do not submit payment or credentials through an unfamiliar link.

Are all government job preliminary tests 100 marks?

No. Marks vary by authority and post. The standard BCS preliminary stage is officially 200 marks, while another recruitment may publish a different pattern in its current circular or exam notice.

What if my admit card and an online exam list show different dates?

Look for a newer correction, postponement or rescheduling notice on the official website. If the conflict remains, contact the recruiting authority through the official details in the notice.

Can the exam pattern change after the job circular?

A later official exam notice may clarify the stage, content, duration, marks or instructions. Use the latest applicable official document and do not assume that a previous recruitment pattern will be repeated.
